The Amway Center is one stunning building, with access to bathroom, the amount of stalls in ladies room, and drinks (from inside the Mercedes Lounge) being a breeze for us. We had 6th row seats on the floor first. Stevie Nicks sounded great, but she was so stiff and unenergetic. Next on to the show.... I enjoyed her enough, but knowing what was to come from The Romantics made it seems like she was not The Legend that she is. I know she is a bit out of shape, but moving around a bit might help that situation out! Rod, who still sounds and looks fantastic, was charming and engaging with the fans! Then there was Rod and his plentiful band exuded energy. My only complaint was that sometimes the music seemed to overtake Rod's wonderful singing, that was mostly early on. Seems like they made an adjustment a few songs into the set. I am a die-hard Rod Stewart fan, so I wish there had been no Stevie, just Rod. He no sooner started than he was doing his encore and it was time to go home. But I "had me a real good time" while it lasted! An hour 40 mins just wasn't enough. Is there ever enough Rod?
